'Lil Fucka

Gabby sent me a message over the weekend with this picture and some love for the work I did on it a couple years ago. 
I stopped over at Greg and Gabby's on Sunday to say hi, go for a ride and drop off a sportster primary cover I borrowed to develop the sportster rearsets on the XRTT project.   Gabby picked up a all original V7 MotoGuzzi in good condition.  The G's are cleaning and fixing the details to get her on it soon. 

Paint on!

Brad finished taping off the tank and the tail Thursday and I was able to do my part.

I'm really loving the way this paint is turning out. I'm not so sure Brad likes the gradient effect but it is subtle and adds the feeling of history to the paint.  I like the effect myself and hope he does as well when he sees it in person.

Last night

Top,  I fine tuned the gixer last night and buttoned it up.  Took it for a " Braaaap " around the block and Im satisfied with the results. 

Bottom,  this sexy mother fucker has basicaly been living in my shop the past few days, playing around with stripes and helping to achive awesomeness on his XRTT sportster project.

I am working on a more elegant solution to the linkage but this works well.

XRTT Sportster progress

Started the first of the paint on the Sporty project .  This will be the color of the striping.

The first mach-up of the left rear-set peg mount, I have to mess with the shifter position a bit but you see where its going.

Gixxer beatdown = Done-ish

More on my 92 GSX-R600W as it says on the tag.

I need to install front turn signals and find a mirror solution still.  I did take it for a run around my subdivision just to give it a shake down and that went well.  I should have dished the tank a bit for my beer gut but I will just play the hand I was dealt on that one...
 Davin dropped off the muffler and hung around for a bit on Saturday, Cool to see you my friend.  The blue pipe goes sweet with the pearl paint!
