I want to hate it but it is a cool idea and way outside the box so you just have to like it.

I don't care for the rest of the bike because it is not my style at all but it is packed full of interesting engineering solutions . Check it out here .

Some weekend stuff

Top: a picture that my daughter snapped from behind my shop. It has totally over grown back there . My daughter takes some great photos and I'm trying to talk her into a blog or website to start showing them off.

Second down: CB750 SOHC a donor motor for the turbo bike. I'm not sure if I'm going to rebuild this one or just swap it out and rebuild the one that is in it now.

Third one down : CB750 parts , Let me know if you need anything, Ive collected quite a bit of stuff.

Bottom: I took the racing brakes off of my car on Saturday. I love the way they stop, I could damn near pop my eyes out with them. They, however were not designed for street use with the floating rotors and no anti-rattle anything. In a nutshell, it was getting old on a daily driver. I was thinking about putting them on eBay and seeing if I get enough to buy a beater crotch rocket or maybe finish my Kawasaki Z1 that Ive been working on for several years. I don't know, the brakes were gifted to me so I feel guilty selling them off but maybe if I get a crotch rocket with Brembo's on it, I wont feel as bad. I will have to mull it over for a bit.

My next bike build has got to be vintage dragster style for sure.

I would like to do a twin engine XS or maybe a pair of H2 Kaw motors, although the xs motors would be more streetable it would be easier to chop the trans off of a 2 stroker. Hmm's I will have to think about it.

I have a ton of shit in the shop right now but I forget to take pictures and frankly most of it is pretty ugly and not really what I like to do so you all are going to just have to tolerate my day dreams for a short while.

XS650 Hardtail Chop Inspirational Photos

Whatever these have in common , I like them .

Especially the one on the bottom. I like the hard tail conversion on the second one down the best.

I like the one on top for all the brass do dads ,but may be a bit to classy for what I want to do with it. I want to keep it low, short, stock rake and bmx style mid controls. I would like suicide shift but I'm not so sure that mixes with the Bolts Action style riding I want to use this for.
