The SlamCharger is for sale

1987 , fuel injected 2 wheel drive 318ci Automatic trans , Highway gear.

I originally picked this up to tour the west with the family about 3 years ago.

I lowered it about 5 inches , shaved the door handles, mirrors, and tail gate. Made a serious steel roll pan for the back and tricked out the paint . Went through the motor, trans, rear end and suspension. Replaced all the bushings with energy suspension urethane. Then went on a tour of the US . It is by no means a show car or a hot rod but its a cool truck this is still pretty practical. It got about 19mpg on my trip through the mountains. Haven't really drove it more than a few thousand miles since . I have a trailer hitch for it but it gets in the way of the roll pan and I didn't really feel like modifying it. Hasn't been driven in the winter and was originally a Florida truck so its not a Michigan Rot Box although the interior is sun bleached.

I am willing to trade if you have a good running 2000+ crotch rocket or a nice open bed truck.

Otherwise I'm looking for $3900 .

Please spread the word.

I will get better pictures if it ever stops raining.

Hood blisters and grills

A while back I posted some little grills and blisters that I made in some 33 Ford side skirts and this is a shot from the company that built the rest of the car. Anyway you can see the little grills and blisters that I fabricated and designed in this shot. This might be be the biggest $$$ project I have ever had part in , absolutely flawless.
