Some paint work for the Austrian motorcycle princess
She asked me to make it a cold white so I picked up some performance white because it looks pretty cold on the mustangs at my day job. Its warmer than a piece of white paper but still pretty white. Papa bear is going to have it pinstriped with the traditional Guzzi theme.

Had a good weekend
Did allot of hanging out at the G's house. We got rained out of the all clubs day in Stockbridge but at least we got to see some friends and go for a mini scoot.

More weekend report.
Gabriella the motorcycle princess.
It seems that Gabby has been bitten hard by the vintage motorcycle bug. I had stopped by the G's place late Friday to find a beautiful scene. Kevin was coaching her through the assembly of her latest Guzzi restoration project scheduled for completion.
Hung with friends, bit of a Iron-headache that I helped the Kid solve and a incredible night to take a ride.

Gettin some things done
It has been so fucking hot and humid here that I've been inside rather than in the shop as much as I usually am. I did manage to chop the frame on the Turbo bike and get started on the badge design for Gabby's Guzzi " Pau " as she has named it. I cut out a scale rendering so we can eye fuck it this weekend at the Wauseon classic bike thingy. Mini-b and I will be there either late today or tomorrow morning, it all depends on the weather. I'm riding the taint splitter and Mini will be on his iron headache stop and say hi.

'Lil Fucka
Gabby sent me a message over the weekend with this picture and some love for the work I did on it a couple years ago.
I stopped over at Greg and Gabby's on Sunday to say hi, go for a ride and drop off a sportster primary cover I borrowed to develop the sportster rearsets on the XRTT project. Gabby picked up a all original V7 MotoGuzzi in good condition. The G's are cleaning and fixing the details to get her on it soon.

Gabby's Guzzi
She decided on satin black. First I Laid down a couple coats of epoxy primer . Epoxy primer will bond to the aluminum an I will spray some catalyzed enamel with a flattening agent in it to bring out the satin.

Gabby's Guzzi Block
Team G stopped by the other night for a visit and to drop off Gabby's engine and trans cases for some paint action. They have not yet picked out a color but I have allot of masking to do anyway. I was trying to talk them into gloss black but they were not so responsive on the idea.

Gaby's Graceful Guzzi

Greg called me last night to say that he wasn't going to make it over because of a little oil leak in the rear end that is spraying oil on the back tire. Gaby sent me a text saying " she is a filthy little bitch! " . So unless Greg found a simple fix , Gabs wont be riding her fresh ride to Wauseon this weekend. That is a bummer indeed.
Greg told me that when Gabs was on the test ride she was grinning ear to ear with her hair all messy and it was a sight to behold.
The rear end leak sounds like there should have been a vent back there to me but who knows , crazy Italian engineering.

Gabby's Guzzi Getting The Stripe On

I have the tank all stripped and ready for paint but I have been concentrating on the other tins first. The thicker double stripe seems to give it a racing stripe feel but with classic style. Everything is ready for clear coat then the scuff and buff begins.
Greg, show this to your girl and let me know what you think so far.
